The Amana DRB-224 is a polycrystalline diamond (PCD) tipped router bit that is designed for cutting a variety of tough abrasive materials. The cutting edge of the bit is said to last up to 100 times longer than carbide. The bit is also designed for grooving, jointing, and rabbeting in materials such as composites, MDF, laminate, plastic, wood veneers, and more.
